Monsignor Miguel Angel García Aráuz, the first bishop of the Jalapa diocese in Guatemala, who passed away in January 2004 and Mother Angela Eugenia Sílva Sánchez, who today is the General Superior, founded the Order of Martha and Mary on January 6, 1979. Their charisma is "love, respect, and special devotion to Sacramented Jesus and to the Virgin Mary". The founders wanted to name this order "Martha and Mary" in rememberance of these saints and to imitate them in generous and unselfish service to brothers and sisters and in their great love to the Divine Master.
Currently there are more than 300 sisters in this Order in Guatemala, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, and Italy. In their example of prayer and contemplation there come together apostolic zeal, activity, and service, as well as intimacy with Jesus in contemplation through prayer.
At the Felices los Niños Foundation they are in charge of the San José Obrero Home, the Madre Maravillas de Jesús Kindergarten and the Santa Teresa de los Andes EGB School in the Chacarita burough in the city of Buenos Aires.
The Order of the Sisters of Adoration, Slaves of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, was founded by Saint María Micaela of the Blessed Sacrament in 1850 to reeducate the deprived youth. It provides religious teaching and integral education to girls living in centers that offer re-educational activities. Their mission is based on Christian reeducation principles that make use of modern teaching techniques. These principles include the efficient and overall promotion of human beings from the moral, human, social, cultural, technical and professional points of view. The Order's charisma is "eucharistic adoration and freedom". Saint Maria Micaela witnessed the abuse, alienation and social exclusion many prostitutes suffered in mid-19th Century Madrid. The Order's headquarters are located in the capital city of Spain.
Their mission is the adoration of Jesus in the Eucharist, and freedom and promotion of women exploited by prostitution. Also to redeem the poor who are victims of vice and impurity. The Sisters train these women to find lodging and to achieve family balance. The Sisters of Adoration, Slaves of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity are in charge of the Santa Micaela Center.

Giovanni Maria Boccardo (1848-1913), the parish priest of Pancalieri, in Northern Italy, founded the religious order of the Poor Daughters of Saint Gaetan. The Order's headquarters are in Torino, Italy. The sisters have commended themselves to St. Gaetan of Thiene's protection. They seek the Realm of God by complying with His will and committing themselves to live "humbly, simply, poorly, and in charity" and to announce the glad tidings to the poor and serve Jesus through them. Their charisma is "taking the Bible to the poor"...
Juan María Boccardo Day Care Center in Máximo Paz, Province of Buenos Aires, is run by the Sisters of the Order of Poor Daughters of St. Gaetan.
