Felices los Niños Foundation sees to it that the rights of the child are respected. That is why the figure of the Children's Advocate was created: to reinforce the attention to children under the Foundation's guardianship as entrusted by the Courts.

The Children's Advocate protects the rights of the child

The role of the Children's Advocate is to observe and report compliance with legal rules affecting minors and with directions contained in the Don Bosco Preventive System as regards the protection and integral education of minors entrusted to Felices los Niños Foundation.

The Advocate performs a role that is completely independent from the Foundation's organization chart, thus ensuring its autonomy.

The Advocate's actions will follow these steps:

1. Reporting of irregular acts or deeds;
2. Communication through irrefutable means;
3. Reporting to administrative authorities and to the law.
