Prayer to Don Orione

Don Orione, Good Father of the Poor,

Today we ask you for our Felices los Niños Foundation

You who trusted in Divine Providence and who worked as if she didn't assist you, give us faith and firm spirit so we will not let down our arms in the task God asks us to perform in favor of the children and youths who are most in need.

Oh Heart of Don Orione, make our feelings similar to those of Christ the Good Sheperd. Let our heart come close to the most rebellious and less talented child, so we may continue the Work which God Father wants to perform!

You who are close to the Mother of the Poor, may She turn her merciful eyes on us and after this our exile may she let us see Jesus' Light!

Don Orione the Saint, give us your strength, give us your patience, give us your glance full of love and tenderness, give us this faith and this optimism which made you cry out with simplicity: A Hail Mary and let's go on!

So may it be.
