Prayer
God of life and of love, Father of all Mankind, full of tenderness and mercy: You have projects of freedom and dignity for each one of us.
Our Good Father: You who in Your Son Jesus sought to gather together all men of every race, believe and culture in one single family. You who condemn war and every power which harms people and their coexistence, listen to the prayer of your children who demand justice as the only guarantee for reinforcing the law of nations.
We believe that peace is built on dialogue, we believe in diplomacy as the best way to reach a fair, human, and lasting solution to the controversy about the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands.
In communion with Mary, Our Lady of Lujan, we ask You that the people in charge of our nations give priority to respect, to historic sober-mindedness and to the care of people and nations in the negotiation we so much need.
We entrust You those who died on the battlefield, those who found no reasons to go on living when coming home, those who remained wounded and ill, those who by their effort blended in in our Argentine society which still owes care and protection to the former combatants, to all their families and to the communities of which they form part.
Give our hearts Your Holy Spirit, in order to build at this time days of peace and justice, of freedom and universal brotherhood.
Amen
