A Prayer to St. Anne to ask for one's children

Glorious St. Anne, patroness of Christian families, I entrust you my children. I know they are Godgiven and belong to Him, therefore I ask you to grant me the grace of accepting whatever the Divine Providence has prepared for them.

Bless them, Merciful St. Anne, and take them under your protection. I do not ask for exceptional privileges for them; I just want to dedicate you both their bodies and their souls, so you may preserve them from any evil. I entrust you their temporal needs and their eternal salvation.

Imprint in their hearts, my good Saint Anne, horror towards sin; move them away from vice; keep them from corruption; preserveFaith, Rectitude, and Christian feelings in their souls ; and teach them as you taught Your Most Pure Daughter the Immaculate Virgin Mary, to love God among all things.

Saint Anne, You who were a Mirror of Patience, grant me the virtue of suffering with patience and love any difficulties I may experience because of the education of my children. For them and for me I ask for Your Blessing, Kind-hearted Celestial Mother.

May we always honor you like Jesus and Mary; may we live according to God's will; and after this life may we find bliss in the life hereafter, meeting You in the glory for all eternity.

PRAYER

Lord, God of our fathers, You granted St. Anne the grace of becoming the Virgin's Mother. What ornaments of virtue and saintliness have you prepared for the woman who was going to be called mother by the Mother of Your Son! Perform your wonders also in our souls. All of us have to comply with some mission in our lives. Help us to be responsive towards Your divine intentions. By Jesus Christ, our Lord.
