Virgen de los Desamparados Day Care Center

FEATURES:

The Virgen de los Desamparados Day Care Center is located in Ituzaingó, a few blocks away from the Oeste Highway and the Barcala bridge. It has been operating since September 2nd 2002. The children attending the home are between 6 and 13 years old.

They attend during the out-of-school hours. They are needy children living at the Villa Angela Settlement, where the home is situated. They are given remedial teaching and recreation either in the morning or the afternoon. A workshop on Drawing and Handicrafts is also run.

Parties and fairs are frequently organized to show their work, so that parents and community neighbors may appreciate the work done by the children together with the Foundation’s professionals. Children attend from Monday through Saturday and are given breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
